frown lines between the brows in people 18-65 years of age. FDA approved,
this 10 minute treatment lasts up to 4 months.
BOTOX is comprised of Clostridium botulinum bacterium a purified protein
which acts to reduce the activity of the muscles that cause frown
lines between the brows. BOTOX works by blocking the transmission
of nerve impulses to the injected muscles; which lowers the activity
of the brow muscles that cause those persistent lines to form.
Clinical trials have shown improvement to 90% of subjects within a
few days of treatment which continue to improve over the 30 days and
can last up to 4 months.
Side Effects: Consult Dr. Fortune before you decided to have BOTOX

not use BOTOX who have neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia
gravis, or Lambert-Eaton syndrome. General side effects from BOTOX
can be temporarily eyelid droop, nausea, inflammation, tenderness,
swelling, redness, bleeding/bruising, localized pain, infection.
BOTOX will not dramatically change your facial appearance, although
a more youthful look is a visible result. Frown lines between the
brow is simply diminished and will still be able to express a naturally
surprised look or frown. You can maintain a smoother brow with treatments
3x per year but if you do not continue BOTOX your frown lines will
return and eventually look as they did before treatment.
